Salaries, EPF, Gratuity and other benefits denied Salaries, EPF, Gratuity and other benefits denied

Sir, I am Sudhir Athekkattil. I am a resident of Malappuram, kerala. I had worked an employee in a company in Chennai, Tamilnadu since 2009. Due to some business loss (they claim) the company had stopped paying our salaries but we were told that everything was in order and it was just a matter of few weeks to resolve every thing. And we were shown some documents showing there were some business deals happening behind. So we trusted them and continued our jobs risking our career and financial stability. Every time we raised the issues they somehow subdued it. In 2018 we decided not to continue and one by one left the company. I left in May 2019. I requested them to issue relieving order and their authorisation of my KYC documents with the EPF. Neither they issued it nor they sent a repply to it. I raised the issue with the EPF department twice, with the labour department once. The EPF department has issued notice to the employer twice. But the issued are still unresolved. Please suggest me a solution to reolve this.

A.Hi,
If an employer doesn’t pay up your salary, you can approach the labour commissioner. They will help you to reconcile this matter and if no solution is reached labour commissioner will hand over this matter to the court whereby a case against your employer may be pursued.

A.Hi,
You must send a legal notice to your employer. A legal notice is a written document sent to the person or employer in your case stating your grievances.
