Online Lottery Online Lottery

I have a lottery and paid trivia business in UK (100% online business). Not registered in India. I would like to promote (sell) tickets of the same to Indians. My bank account in UK can accept payments in INR / GBP, so I can collect and pay back (to winner) in the same currency (INR/ GBP). Is it Legal/ any procedures to follow for doing this? I am aware online/ offline lottery can't be registered in India. As we can buy some kind of service (hotel room) or physical item in UK and get delivered in UK (to a relative), from India using Indian bank card, similarly can Indians buy and win lottery in a British Company (Considering it is legal to sell tickets and award cash prizes to foreigners) ?

A.Hi,
However, there is no blanket ban. Lotteries are legal in only 13 states including Sikkim, Kerala, and Maharashtra among others to the extent that a national collection of Rs. 46 crore per day has been recorded.

A.Hi,
Nevertheless, you can play international lotteries in India - the rules and regulations for the foreign lotteries are not subject to the Indian law, as the draw doesn’t take place in India. So, one can buy online lottery tickets from India for European, Australian, and American lotteries. Also, one can play more than 50 lotteries from all over the world.
