Want to know if my employer can take legal action against me if I have left the organisation in 1 day notice. I have submitted all the company assets. Now they are asking for money. I was not comfortable with night shift and facing issue with sleep and health was affected, I got a better option on day shift from a different organisations and want to join them. Informed them I am Facing health issue so want to leave immediately without serving notice

A.you worked only for 1 day then no action.
If you were working for months/years and then left without notice period then they can recover the amount as per contract which you signed.

A.Dear Client,
If you have submitted entire handed articles given to you on record , duly by mail even or on paper , then there wo not be any issue. But, they may send you a notice under employment terms and conditions when you might have signed on appointment letters.
However, an employee can not be a bonded employee whatever be terms and conditions signed on , except any money liabilities arises with company such as training expenses etc.
No need to worry. Company would not go to court for breaching terms, except money involved.

A.Hi,
It depends upon the terms and conditions of your employment agreement.
However, If you leave without proper resignation, the company might file a case against you and ask you to pay compensation. Since your employment is governed by your employment contract, you will have to serve the notice period specified.

A.Hi,
