Am 50+ years old and permanent employee in a 6 years old Registered Company. The company closed my working division alone and asking me to leave the company. As per my offer letter, am eligible for employment till 58 years and 2 months notice period/pay on either side. Now am aged 50+ and not getting employment at out side. Can I demand compensation for the remaining service period in addition to pay for notice period. Please advice.

A.Hi,
Did company provide you with any of the reasons, and if no such substantial reason was provided than yes you may send them a legal notice for claiming compensation.

More facts are required, what reason company provided you and if they did not provide any such reason you may send them a legal notice.
