Half salary full work
Hi,
My company deducted salary by 50% since April 2020 due to lickdown however, we were on work from home since March 20, 2020. We have been working full hours all monday to friday and even alternate Saturday.
Is there any law or notification which can help my employer in labour court?
What are my legal rights apart from my deducted salary
Note: my employer is from delhi just incase jurisdiction makes any difference.

A.Hi,
Unfortunately, unless you are a workman (daily wage earner), your employer is free to cut your salary as per the terms of your employment contract. There was an order passed by the Ministry of Home Affairs on 29.03.2020 stating that wages had to be paid in full by both private and government employers, but this is exclusively applicable to daily wage labourers.
As an employee, you have the right to take leave, receive timely salary, maternity benefit, protection from harassment, receive gratuity, provident fund and give notice. There is also a right to appropriate working hours, but this would be determined by the terms of your employment contract as well.
