GPA police station of property address is wrongly written. Can it be rectified? What is the process?

Recently a person received registered POA from her sons, who will be outstation, for sale of a property from Register Office in Kolkata . After a month during verification of the papers by the byers it was seen that the Police Station mentioned in the address of the property in POA is erroneous due to a clerical mistake. The buyers are not ready to buy the property until and unless the POA is rectified. Can the person sell the property without rectifying the P.S. in POA or is it needs to be rectified mandatorily? Will any reputed nationalised bank sanction loan without the rectification? Is it possible to rectify the police station in POA? What is the process? What are the charges? What is the Lawyer fees?
What are the other options without rectification of POA to get the clearance from Banks for loan?
