Harrasment from aunt

My aunt is. In Australia, she used to. Be helpful and talk nicely to me. I told her a mistake that I. Did 6 years back. I. Gave my then school crush my grandma's jewel with my grandma's permission,that guy took the jewel and cheated us.. Now since I wanted to be more transparent, I told my aunt. She is become a bad person. I am happily comitted to my boyfriend. But she is trying to run my life and has caused a havoc in his family by telling bad stuff about be. Though it had not affected us a a couple.. My aunt is going to any extent just to spoil my name and life. What should I do. She is planning to stop my relationship and break my love. I feel she is ruling and running my life. I am 22 now.
Defamation is punishable under Sections 499 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code. In addition, outraging the modesty of a woman can be punished under S.509 IPC.
However, Indian Courts can only take action when your aunt is here in India. Block her and ignore any attempts to contact you for as long as she is in Australia.

You can file a defamation suit against her under Sections 499 and 500 IPC when she returns to India. As she is another country, you can simply block her number and social media and go about your life.
