Legal recourse on fraudulent certificates issued by Rev Authorities Legal recourse on fraudulent certificates issued by Rev Authorities

10 years ago, a real estate builder acquired 20 acres of agricultural land and developed the same as a residential layout. He obtained zirayati certificate from the concerned Tahsildar, permission from Rev Dvl Officer for conversion of agricultural land into residential site, DTCP approval on the layout plan and sold all the plots (around 120).

I have two plots in it and the same are in my possession from 10 years. Now the Tahslidar issued a show cause notice to all the buyers of the plots, claiming that the land is Govt D patta land and therefore intends to take possession of the same. The Rev. Officials unofficially confirmed that all their above certificates are genuinely issued (we have photo copies with us).

Please advise what is the recourse available to protect our interest in the property. Can the Rev Officials disown their own certificates after 10 years and revoke all their permissions, state level approvals under the pretext that these are done by some fraudulent officers?

In case of legal recourse, can i (as a buyer of two plots) proceed in a court of law, based on photocopies of Govt certificate, permission and layout approval (issued in favor of builder) independently for my sites exclusively?

A.The permission granted 10 years back if granted as per law can't be revoked at this stage. The revenue authority is misusing its position probably for some undue financial advantage. It will be better to consult a local lawyer for better guidance to approach high court immediately.
