Can joining a competitor after resigning from current company breach Conflict of interest policy? Can the company move legally against me?

A.Hi,
This would depend on the terms of your employment contract, specifically the non-compete clause, if any. If no such clause exists, you are free to join the competitors. The rule under Section 27 of the India Contract Act is that agreements is restraint of free trade are generally void.

A.Hi,
This would depend on the terms of your prior employment agreement. Agreements that are unreasonably restrictive to free trade are void under Section 27 of the Indian Contract Act.
