Hi Team, My wife has been working since past 10 years. Now she is expecting and due date of delivery is 8th of Septamber 2021. She is still working and would like to switch job.Can she join a new company before 2 month of expected date and can still be eligible for maternity benifits.i read somewhere that one must stay with tje new employer for minimum 80 days to avail maternity benifits...is there any way out of this minimum stay condition...

A.Dear Sir,
It is important for any woman employee who has working as a same employer for a minimum of 80 days during the 12-month, before the date of expected birth, is entitled to maternity leave. So, she won't be entitle of getting maternity leave if she switch her job. She should continue the old job for availing these benefits.

A.she will not get maternity benefits.
also no employer will be offering job after medical report.
