Sir, I was working as a teacher in primary school.Last month, I retired from service. My original appointment was as a primary teacher at Zilla Parishad Satara. There I worked as a teacher for the government service for twelve years.Afterwards, due to some inevitable reason, I had to take my transfer to Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation in Pune.after that In the Municipal Corporation, I worked as a teacher for 18 years.I retired last month from muncipal corporation. My service has long been in this municipality and it is around eighteen years. However, the criteria for Zilla Parishads are being made while paying the pension. My service to the Zilla Parishad has been for twelve years only.According to the Municipal Corporation circular, you need to complete the service of the Corporation for at least twenty years to take advantage of the pension. However, my service is held in the corporation for many years than jillha parishad. Can I get pension as per the salary of the municipal corporation, and what action should be taken to get the pension as per the municipal services?

A.Hello Teacher,

On the above details I found that you have not completed 20 years service in Municipal corporation. You have completed only 18 years service in Municipal corporation and if you adde your service in Zilla Parishads then same will entitle to pension benefits. Hope this is correct. You can do one things issue a notice to the corporation claiming your pension then we can see how they respond to it.
