Hi i want to form residents welfare association in my society which is build on a freehold land which document we need and how to proceed with builder

You have to approach local advocate is acquitted with such draftings or approach concerned office and get some formats and also ask for check list and thus you can get first hand information from the concerned office.

A.Hi,
The builder can be a member if he is a resident /owner of a flat. He can not claim more than one vote even if he has more than one flat in his own name. At least seven individuals could subscribe in their name for MOA for registration under Registrar of Societies to shape themselves into a Society under Societies Registration Act, 1860.

The developer and residents can mutually call for an annual general body meeting to form a RWA. The Societies Registration Act 1860, mandates that at least 10 members should give their names to the memorandum of association, who will occupy posts in the management body.
