Since my situation wasn't clear in my previous question, I am again posting this. Respected sir, kindly tell, Can I legally marry daughter of my 3rd cousin?
There is no such tradition in the family and our last hope is Legal ways, if allowed then we can get our parents ready.

A.Dear Sir,
You can marry in this new World as no such instances are there. Such circumstances will arise only when concerned parents lodge a complaint with Police but it never happened. But, it may affect you scientifically.

A.Dear Sir/ Madam,
As per Section 3(g) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. two persons are said to be within the degrees of prohibited relationship if one is a lineal ascendant of the other; or if one was the wife or husband of a lineal ascendant or descendant of the other; or if one was the wife of the brother or of the father’s or mother’s brother or of the grandfather’s or grandmother’s brother of the other; or if the two are brother and sister, uncle and niece, aunt and nephew, or children of brother and sister or of two brothers or of two sisters. You might want to refer to the above mentioned provision for your difficulty and consider your family customs as well for better understanding.

It does not seem to be applicable in your case however you may still want to consult with your family first.

A.You are willing to marry your niece. For Hindus, it is illegal under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, as amended up to date. However, this Act has made an exception for those marriages which are given a permit by region-based personal Laws. In certain States as per Customary usages, maternal uncle can marry the niece and such practice is valid in the eye of Law.
