If the author or publisher is very serious about the copyrights then you have to face a civil and criminal prosecution. If you are business is very less and not reaching the knowledge of author and publisher then there will be no problem.

In the case of criminal copyright infringement, the minimum punishment for an infringement of copyright is imprisonment for six months with a minimum fine of Rs. 50,000/-. In the case of a second and subsequent conviction, the minimum punishment is imprisonment for one year and a fine of Rs. 1,00,000/-. Considering how steep the fines are, it is advisable not to use the problems of a textbook since it is intellectual property.

A.Hi,
You may be violating the copyright of the book publisher. The content of a math book, such as diagrams, word problems, illustrations are copyrighted and if found plagiarised and cause you fines.

A.I don't think you will have any copyright issue when you use those problems mentioned in a book for teaching purpose but if you use any particular concept or derivative of the chapter or book then it will be. To be on the safer side you can change the values and the names in the problem while teaching.

A.Do you mean maths problems like we had in school ?? Anyhow how difficult is it to change certain names or situations of the textbook problems ..just do it so that you don't have to be in fear of facing any copyright issues. Secondly please note that you face copyright issue when you use a copyright work in unauthorized manner so in your case it would depend on whether text book you are referring and problem mentioned therein is copyrighted work or not so if it is than you might require to delete your video or so which completely depends on the claimant and if complaint reaches YouTube than upon the policy of YouTube. Thank you.
