A.Under Hindu Marriage Act 1955 Mental Disorder is a ground for divorce. The case if filed will be an interesting case. You may file for divorce on mental disorder but everything will depend on the discretion of the judge.

A.First of all Court will not be allowing the divorce from the first wife (who is not responsive) as it is not that easy in this case. The court will be in touch situation to take a stand. Secondly if the court passes a decree of divorce then what may come (even is she regains the senses) her marriage with the man is nullified. She may appeal against the court judgement but that will be a remarkable case in history of law to look forward too by all people interested in legal affairs.
