A lady with fake marriage A lady with fake marriage

A hindu woman claimed in her affidavit that she got married with hindu man in temple. She got entered her name in gram panchyat as married lady with that person based on that affidavit. She lived with that man for about 10 years and after that man died. After that, When she was asked in gram panchyat for priest certificate and other proofs of marriage ceremonies then she failed and it has been concluded that she never married with man in temple and generated a fake marriage affidavit. What would be the legal status of above said lady. Does she considered as widow of that man or not.

A.Hi,
As she generated a fake affidavit and never actually married a man in temple, she is not considered as her husband if there are no proofs to show the validity of her marriage. Therefore, she will not be considered as a widow of that man.
