I and my wife are senior citizens and our only son who is settled in UK does not look after us. We had appealed to concerned SDO as per 'Maintenance of parents............act-2007' and the SDO had given an order on 13.11.17 asking our son to deposit Rs.10000/- per month in my bank account. But my son did not respect the SDO's order and I have not received any money from him. I followed up with the SDO office and 5 days back the concerned staff of the office said that the least they can do is to send the order once again to my son and it is not possible for them to submit a police complain as my son stays in UK.
Request you to guide me as to how I should proceed further to get my money as per Government's order. In the Maintenance act of 2007 there is also a mention that this rule applies irrespective of whether the son stays in India or abroad.
