Farm land sold with wrong boundaries shown

I bought a land of 3 acres 2 years back. The seller had 5.5 acres. He showed me different boundaries and registered different survey number to us. Now I am trying to sell that land to others and the old seller of us threatening us the land is different according to the survey numbers registered on our name.

If the seller has sold you you a different piece of land than what was promised and shown to you then it that case you send him a legal notice for getting back your money and also let him know that in case of non-cooperation you can take both civil and criminal action against him.

A.If the Seller has executed registered Sale Deed in respect of different survey numbers without having ownership in respect thereof ,then that amounts to fraud,cheating and criminal breach of trust on the part of that seller, in respect whereof it is necessary to lodge FIR in the local police station against that Seller. At the same time it is necessary to issue legal notice to that Seller for cancellation of Sale Deed and refund of money within stipulated period, failing which civil suit has to be filed against that Seller within three years from the date of execution and registration of that Sale Deed.
