Whether acceptance of resignation is required after expiry of notice period?
Whether resignation is effective immediately after the expiry of notice period or resignation is effective only after issuance of acceptance letter by competent authority?

A.Dear Client,
The notice period starts once your letter of resignation has been accepted. After you have served your notice period you shall get a release letter from the concerned. After that your resignation is effective.

A.Dear Client
When you resign in a company then the manager has to accept the resignation and from that date the notice period starts counting. Once the notice period is over then then the company is supposed to issue the release letter.
