Sister as nominee
Woman passed away with Rs 20L FD. She was married but her husband had passed away few years before and she does not have children. And she had already made her sister as nominee for this FD. Apart from sister can anyone else from husband's family claim this amount?
A.Dear Client,
As per the facts stated, the sister is the only one who has the right over the FD as she is the nominee.

A.Dear Sir,
It has to be paid to the nominee without any further questions.

A.Dear Client
If the sister is already made and recorded as nominee with the bank then only the sister can claim this amount and no one else. If anyone else tries to do that the bank will not cooperate as that will be against the norms.
