How to settle amongst legal heir

Hi
My father is legal heir to my maternal uncle who is deceased now.My deceased uncle has 1 brother and 3 sisters.Now the brother has came to settle and we have compromise a specific amount .Now he is telling to sign all documents after that will give amount.
Is there any way to go through court to receive amount ?
