Contract with N F Railways under GCC

We had a contract with N F Railways under GCC,2016 and last date of completion was 31/05/2021. We have awarded contract for 8 railway stations out of which we have completed work at 7 stations and 1 stations work was due as there were engineering work in process. We have applied for extension of date of completion on 05/11/2021 and 19/01/2022 after completion of engineering work and joint final survey dated 18/01/2022 but Engineer of tender of same contract has sent a letter for Termination under clause 62 of GCC, quoting hence competent authority has not approved your extension of date of completion, your contract is terminated and PBG and SD money will be forfeited. Now how to proceed with further action to challenge and stop this illegal action of Engineer. Kindly guide us.

In the contract agreement, the termination clause will be mentioned, such consequences cannot be waived. But You have the legal remedy to claim your salary for the work done.
