my mom getting pension regularly

my mom getting pension regularly however for few years she was excess of amount above the pension amt. we intimated to the pension office that we receiving excess in amount, however suddenly they told you need to pay INR 5,00,000 as in one shot payment and also started took full pension amount and also other amount of INR 50000 without any intimation or legal notification. is it possible shall i file a case and make to stop taking my mom pension?
