High interest in education loan

I bought 30000 as education loan and completed my degree in 2014
So far i have repay 6000
But stilll sbi bank says i have 50000 pending
What to do. Why they are doubling the loan amount without any letter for the past three years only this year they are notifying you have to pay loan

If there is any overcharging by the bank, then it can be rectified if it is ultra-vires the agreement.

A.Possibly they are right since they would have added the interest for last say 4-5 years. You should go and speak to them and find out.
