My sister got an appointment of govt primary school teacher(contractual but with usual pay scale) when she was reading in b.sc 5th semester(regular course). Then she completed her 5th & 6th semester ie final two semester along with her regular job without taking any NOC(she did not know the exect procedure)from the appointment authority.(dept & college verbally allowed). But after completion of the course;the dept did not allow such degree as saying she has not taken any NOC.Literally the degree become almost useless. After that she took NOC from the dept and comlpete B.A course from distance mode & the dept allowed this B.A degree. My first question is whether her appointment authority may take any disciplinary action against her in future & if so what will be the consequences of ssuch action?Secondly, she is preparing for civil service examinations (both UPSC & APSC) by using her B.A course and if she select there and then later UPSC or APSC know that she had a B.SC course which coexist with her primary teacher job;whether any problem arise or not? Finally,is there any provision in the law that she approach the court & explain the details & also confess her lack of knowledge about the procedure(she is willing to invalidate her B.SC if allowed & also ready to give some monetary penalty)?

A.She can take n number of degrees. She does not require any approval from any authority. As long as the degree is genuine there lies no problem from any quarter. B.Sc is a valuable degree which is hard to earn. It will definitely weigh in her credentials.

A.Dear client dont worry.there is no problem for examination or appointment in UPSC or any other state public service commission exams. She need to submit his curriculum details of BA not BSc. Moreover she can deposit her NOC issued by department which she has been currently working.but she need to fill up her education and working details properly when examination form will fill again.
