Can a married earning woman who is staying with her in laws accomodate her mother or father when their spouse is physically incapable to look after either of them? In my case my mother is undergoing treatment for cancer whereas my father although pensioner he is old and cannot take care of basic needs when he himself requires help at the age of 72. In other words does our law says only the male members parents are allowed to accommodate their parents and not the female?

Both the genders are equally responsible to house and provide quality of life to their elderly parents. That can be done either by housing them or by providing mantainance to them.
