Me and My second cousin from my father's side are in love with eachother. So if we convert ourselves from Hindu to Christianity and then we marry eachother so will our marriage be considered as legal in India?

A.Dear client,

That would be legally possible. You cannot marry your secons cousin if you are hindu as per the hindu marriage act. However, if you belong to the specific mentioned categories in the Act you can marry even while being a hindu.
