fraud in online income tax return

Sir I asked one of my known person to fill the income tax return for me, but recently when I checked history of my income tax returns I found out that in 2017-18 itr was refunded to his bank account because he did fraud with me and put his bank account number instead of mine .
And when I asked this to that guy he refused to return back my money.
What can I do now ?

You can file a civil suit of recovery against your friend. If you are willing to take up criminal action against him, then you can file a case under section 107 of IPC for criminal misrepresentation and 415 of IPC for cheating.
