have given money for my friend some emergence RS 32000 but he is not given back .
Can I file a complaint against my friend who cheated my money? But i have only call recording proof with me and have transaction

A.Dear client,
You can file a case under section 138 of the negotiable instruments Act, if the payment which is given by you is not in cash. You should file it within the limitation period. After the limitation period is expired it becomes difficult to file a case.
Or if you have given him the amount in cash,
You can file a money recovery suit in civil court and try. Send a legal notice to return your money. Check his reply, if he refuses to give back the same then file suit to recover your money.
