Father passed away in 2018,mother alive, we're two sisters [unmarried age 30+] one brother married age30+ ,we've a two storeyed house on patta/ khass land ,on my mother's name, recently we come to know that, my mother has secretly transferred the house into my brother's name, without informing us.in this situation do we two sister's have any right to get the equal part of the house? We want one storeyed of the house for permanently for lifetime Residencial..what have to do ? Please suggest. Thank you.

A.Dear Madam,
You can file partition suit and seek cancellation of such deed executed by your mother because she is not the absolute owner of entire property.

A.Dear Client,
The rights in the parental property of a daughter shall be the same as the rights and liabilities of a son.
Send him a legal notice and ask the details of the property. If they still do not disclose file a suit for partition in the civil court. Ask for equal distribution amongst all the legal heirs.
