Issue in getting the Way for Electricity Connection-TNEB-Tamil Nadu Issue in getting the Way for Electricity Connection-TNEB-Tamil Nadu

Respected sir/madam,

We Belong to Agriculture family based out of Tamil Nadu, we applied for Electricity connection issued by Govt of Tamil Nadu under tatkal scheme and Electricity board officials completed the work for about 80% in our agriculture land.

The remaining work is halted for more than 2 years now, we learnt that we require a route to take the main tapping electricity connection available from the nearby power source (Electric Transformer) beside our agriculture land which is a big Automobile a subsidiary of a giant automobile industry based out of Tamil Nadu for which there is an objection raised by this company.

Therefore Electricity board officials are also in helpless situation stating that if our family agrees they are ready to return the amount paid for the Electricity Connection tatkal scheme since there is no alternate way to take the connection as our agriculture land is surrounded completely East west North south by Industries.

We have requested the Company management met multiple times but our request is not entertained, reached out to Electricity Board officials but again no help from any end.

Kindly Suggest us at this critical times how we can get the justice, its my late fathers dream to have a electricity connection in our agriculture land to yield more cultivation, we are helpless, stressed out, helpless and completely in pain due to this as we spent almost 8 lakhs of our lifetime savings into this anticipating Electricity connection (Borewell, Tatkal scheme charges, Drip Irrigation work, etc,.).

How to get our justice,

Can we approach Honorable High Court -Madras TamilNadu filing writ?

How much Charges it will cost given this situation facing the Corporate the other end?

Will we ever get the justice because we are a simple family and the other side its an industry.

Please guide and help us .

Thanks

Anik

A.Dear client,
It's sad that you are going through this problem because of some industries. There are some rules which tell that there should not be any industries upto certain territory of an agricultural land.
It is better you write a mail to the industry's mail ID and request them regarding this. They cannot deny you. If they are doing so, file a writ petition under article 226 before Madras HC. Consult a lawyer and they will help you with it. Some law firms might be interested in taking up Pro bono cases where they will fight the case for you freely. Contact some law firms and get the legal remedy.
