How can a christian boy marry a Hindu girl..I came to know that arya samaj will not accept a non-hindu marriage? Both of us decided to marry...but the threatens have been going on from girl's side...How can I proceed? Thanks in advance...

A.Dear Client,
Your marriage will be governed under The Special Marriage Act,1954.
Documents required for court marriage are as follows:
Documents required for court marriage are as follows:
1. Application form in the prescribed format with the prescribed fees and Application form duly signed by both husband and wife.
2. Passport Size Photographs of Marrying Persons
3. Residential Proof of Marrying Persons/. Address proof of both the husband and wife. Adhaar card was being required for registration too.
4. Date of Birth Proof of Marrying Persons/Documentary evidence of date of birth of parties (Matriculation Certificate / Passport / Birth Certificate). .
5. Residential Proof and PAN Card of Three Witnesses
6. Death certificate or divorce decrees whichever is applicable, in case one of the parties had any marriages in the past.
7. Affidavit by both the parties stating place and date of marriage, date of birth, marital status at the time of marriage and nationality and that the parties are not related to each other within the prohibited degree of relationship as per Hindu Marriage Act or Special Marriage Act as the case may be.
Essential conditions for court Marriage are -
1. There should be not be subsisting valid marriage of either of the parties with any other person.
2. Boy should be above 21 years of age and Girl above 18 years of age.
3. The parties should not be of unsoundness of mind of such a nature as to be unable to valid consent for the marriage, or suffering from mental disorder of such a kind or to such an extent to be unfit for marriage and procreation of children, or has been subject to recent attacks of insanity.
4. Parties should not fall within the degree of prohibited relationship i.e. should not be related to each other.
5. Marriage invitation card, if available.

A.Dear Sir
You can marry under Special Marriage Act as follows.

You may go through the following procedure under Special Marriage Act
Conditions Necessary for A Marriage
The following conditions are necessary:
1. That neither party has a spouse living at the time of marriage.
2. That neither party is incapable of giving a valid consent to the marriage due to unsoundness of mind.
3. That neither party has been suffering from mental disorder of such a kind or to such an extent as to be unfit for marriage and the procreation of children.
4. That neither party has been subject to recurrent attacks of epilepsy or insanity.
5. That the bridegroom has completed the age of 21 years and the bride the age of 18 years at the time of marriage.
6. That the parties are not within the degrees of prohibited relationship. However where a custom governing at least one of the parties permits a marriage between them, such marriage may be solemnized non with standing that they are within the degrees of prohibited relationship as follows:

The requirements of procedure as per Karantaka State is as follows regarding fees and formats

3. Every Marriage Officer shall cause his name designation and the regular working hours of his office to be written in English and in Kannada and displayed in a conspicuous part of the building in which his office is situated.
4. (1) Notice of any intended marriage under the Act shall be given in writing in the form specified in the Second Schedule to the Act to the Marriage Officer by both the parties intending to enter into the marriage either in person or by registered post.
(2) Where the notice is delivered in person, the fee prescribed therefor in rule 10 shall be paid directly in cash to the Marriage Officer. Where the notice is sent by registered post the fee shall be remitted by money order at the remitters expense and the receipt issued to the remitter by the post office through which the remittance is made shall be attached to the notice.
(3) As soon as the notice has been received by the Marriage Officer a distinctive serial number shall be entered on it and such number and the date of receipt of the notice shall be attested by the signature of the Marriage Officer. If the notice is in the confirmity with the requirements of the Act, it shall be entered in the marriage notice book which shall be

A.Boy may convert himself into Hinduism or girl may convert herself into Christianity. In both the cases their original religion will seize to operate and will not inherit any assets from their parents if they are not ethical or morally supportive. Or both may marry under special marriage Act.
