hii my name is uday i am working in Mumbai and i am work on contract base my contract is end one month before i just resigning one day ago and my manager put my salary on hold and in my offer letter there is no mention about notice period

A company must pay the full and final settlement of wages within two days of an employee's last working day following their resignation, dismissal or removal from employment and services. And as you said that thee was mention of notice period then you company can't hold your salary. You can proceed for legal action against company.
