I paid almost 50000 Rs. To a fraud website , it was promising me a job under a month. First was a registration of Rs.7000/- , next was Profile verification of around Rs.14500/- and next an interview of Rs.30000/- , the interview was on the same date of the payment. Upon further investigation my family found out that these service were fraud and the interview (On skype call) was also a fraud. I made these transactions over a credit card. I tried to cancel the payment within 2 hours of the payment but the bank said they wouldn't cancel it. The merchant had not received the money for atleast 3 days after the payment and the bank could have easily withdrawn it. I filed for a charge back and was denied. What should I do? Should I file an FIR?

You lodge a complaint before the cyber crime branch along with the receipts or relevant document. Authorities can file a FIR.
