Claiming my late father's pf and pension
My father passed away in july 2022, he had worked for a company for 5 years and had also opted in for employee pension scheme(I have the scheme certificate). I had updated the nominee as myself in the pf portal online for 100% of share around 2 months before his passing.
I went to the employer to get the form filled, they are asking for a ration card or marriage certificate to apply for the pf and pension, I don't have both.
So I went to the sub tehsildar to get a survivor certificate but they said that in bangalore this is only issued to govt employees.
Me, my brother and my mother all have my father's name on the aadhar card and the scheme certificate for the pension also has our names
So I am not sure which other document I need to claim the pf and pension.
Death certificate of Pensioner
Copy of Aadhar of Beneficiaries
Bank Account details (Original Cancelled Cheque or or attested copy of Bank Passbook) of beneficiary
Proof of Age- in case of Children
Thank You
Instead of getting survivor certificate get legal heir certificate on Rs.200/- e-Stamp paper notarized through public notary. Then produce the same before the Company if not accepted file a Writ Petition.
