Builder asking for wall plaster amount Builder asking for wall plaster amount

Hi , I have booked an apt on the 17th floor of a 45 storey tower , payment until 31st slab has been made , however the slab work is not moving ahead since last 8 months and now builder has started to demand wall and plaster work amount although that item falls last in the schedule of payments, can the builder demand such payment even if the slab work has stopped .

A.Hi client,

The agreement between you and the builder is to be verified, contact an advocate from your local jurisdiction. If enough reasons or violation of the agreement is done then a legal notice through an advocate is to be sent.

No, the builder cannot demand money like this unreasonably and that too when it falls in the last schedule of payments, for further assistance, you may contact a local lawyer.
