My salary day is 7th each month. This feb got a mail that it will disburse in 10th. In 10th they told they are lost a deal with investor thats why 50% my pay cut will be there for jan-march. After things normal they will pay. They paid jan sal on 13th feb that is 50% paycut. Now this 20th they started layoff. and telling to give resignation in 1 day. No compensation they will give. Only feb 21 salary they will disbusrse when situation will okay. So dont know what to do. As suddenly in 1 day how can I quit? Please guide.

A.Hello Sir,
Since they are giving layoff without any prior notice so they have to pay compensation to you according to Employes Compensation Act, 1923.
If they refused to do so you can file a complaint against them in industrial tribunal.
