A.Dear Client,
According to sub-rule 6(iii) of Rule 54 of the CCS(Pension) Rules, 1972, and the circular dated 29/04/2011 of the Department of Pension and Pensioner's Welfare, GOI, the family pension is payable to the unmarried/widowed/divorced daughter until she gets married or remarried or until she starts earning her livelihood, whichever is earlier. So, you being the daughter-in-law of the deceased pensioner are not entitled to a family pension because of the above proposition of relevant law. and circular of the concerned department.
