A.If you are applying for a non-creamy layer certificate, the income of your husband's family would be considered for determining your eligibility under the OBC category. The non-creamy layer criteria are based on the income of the family to which you belong, which includes your husband's family after marriage.

According to the government guidelines, the income limit for determining the creamy layer status of OBC candidates is based on the income of the parents of the candidate, and not on the candidate's own income. Therefore, if your father's income is below the prescribed limit for OBC non-creamy layer, then you may apply for the certificate on the basis of your father's income. However, if your husband's income falls under the creamy layer criteria, then you may not be eligible for the certificate.

It is advisable to check the eligibility criteria and income limit for OBC non-creamy layer status in your state before applying for the certificate. You can approach the relevant government authority or the office of the Tehsildar or Mandal Revenue Officer to obtain the non-creamy layer certificate.
