My brother in law is a government servant. He was married to my sister 7 years before and have a son of 4 years age. My brother has indulged in gambling and has lost a lot of money. He has sold all gold which we had given to our sister worth around Rs. 10 lacs. He has also taken bank loan of around Rs. 20 lacs and lost that as well. He has taken credit from his relatives and friends worth around Rs 4 lacs. Our sister did not inform us on time as it was a love marriage. Now when we got to know about it, we have taken our sister and her child with us and have asked boys family to clear all dues. Our sister is living with us since last one year and her in-laws are not bothered about solving her issue. What should be the way forward.
