I have signed an employment agreement with an organisation for two years but I have found a better opportunity somewhere else. I want to leave my current organisation but during the agreement signing I gave them an UNDATED CHEQUE of amount 6 lac rupees. How should I proceed ???

A.Dear Client

In such cases, employer may encash the amount of 6 lac rupees from your undated cheque if you leave your job pre-maturely. And in case, if the undated cheque is dishonored then the company may bring legal actions against you.

Without reading employment bond, it will be difficult to give any consultation over this matter. Please seek expert legal advice on employment contract before taking any further steps.
