Company put me on PIP & did not give me any documentation Company put me on PIP & did not give me any documentation

After working with this company for 19 long years, I was put through hell & then in pip on the pretext of performance but the HR only read it out to me & did not provide any documentation. And i was forced to resign as the pip was unsuccessful according to them. But i faced certain health issues which had severely affected my last 2 weeks performance & for which i had proofs but neither the manager nor even HR was even ready to listen to my genuine reasons. On the contrary, they questioned me as how come all this is coming up now only. And this after putting in 19 years of work for this thankless company. I had no behavioral issues, was very sincere & dedicated towards my job with no untoward absenteeism & a very disciplined employee. But to my misfortune I got only toxic bosses to work with & the last one took the straw. He was not only the worst person for me to work with as he was very dishonest & had unethical ways of working since he was looking only at targets & not bothered even if it was achieved by unethical means. And he never treated me as a part of his team. He was always sidelining & ignoring me right from the time I was put in his team from last May. He would not involve me during his team outings nor in any team activities. But when it comes to insulting, he would scream at me in front of the whole team. This had happened several times. He made my life hell. He had completely stopped talking to me or even helping me in anything & told me infront of others that he even stopped talking to me. When i was put in PIP & called for a meeting with HR, the HR instead pf first listening to me called all the managers which i believe was to intimidate me & when i started pointing out about my toxic boss's misbehavior, she asked me to wait & called him in front of me & then asked me to say. Though i said certain things i left out certain other things out of stress due to this actions on her part. Though they claimed they will look into it, I dont even think they even addressed it. Besides the senior manager who my manager had deliberately called was already in full support of my boss. So she told him not to tell me anything as hereafter she will directly handle my case. And she assigned an sme who was to be my support the entire time. Soon i got to know this was all just a hogwash & they had already decided to terminate me. This PIP was just a route to my exit & my performance was only used as an excuse. My quality was at 100% though but that was nowhere considered. And that sme had helped me properly only for 8-10 days after which he would get irate. So i stopped taking help from him. Meanwhile my boss continued behaving the same way he was before though HR claimed to have taken severe action against him though what i still dont know as i never noticed any change in his behavior like making threatening remarks in general or making snide remarks at me by indirectly yelling at others. And this rotten management played the last dirty game in which they had sealed my fate. This was nobody gave me any feedback. So that the first week feedback was given towards the second weekend that too after i asked from the so called support sme. That support sme was not given to me for support but was meant for their support. The manager & he had clandestine meetings in which i was kept in dark about my own so called performance. Then i saw this trio ue my boss, sme & manager having the same secret meeting in the manager cabin & then my boss took nthe sme away & possibly told him to create negative feedback about me which already my 6th sense alerted me to. And just as i thought within the next 2 days i was brought before HR & was shocked to see the kind of negative report prepared by them which was to show me in a completely negative light. They only read it out to me but did not give me any documentation. And i bought the sme behavior to their notice but nothing was done about it. And throughout the HR took the management's side only & i was left to my devices. Inspite if telling about my medical condition, i only got inhuman inhuman treatment only. And was told to put down my papers. Also i asked the HR for severance pay but they said that was only for termination that too only in some cases. And we havent terminated you. So i told her but this is forced resignation so almost equal to termination. To which she denied saying but we are going to give u a clean exit. And i had to resign the same day ie 29th March. But they did not give me any documented proof of pip. What do i do now? Can i ask for the same now? Sorry for the long question but im extremely disturbed about the whole situation i had to face all alone & no one to turn to for any support or guidance

Sir thank you for your timely response. I cannot reach out to my former boss as he is the one responsible for my misery. From the day i was put in his team, he did everything to make my life hell. I was never treated a part of his team & he would exclude me from all team activities including team outings. He was extremely biased towards me. While majority of my colleagues were given work from home, i was the only one who was attending office regularly. And even the days I was sick or had any urgent work, i was made to report to work. So much so that many times I was the only female employee from the team reporting to office while the entire team worked from home. This was because I was not provided with a laptop & was forced to work on a desktop only. Eventually I was given a temporary laptop provided by someone else & not my TL who never wanted to give me one even after i made several requests. That too only this Jan. And within 2 weeks of providing this, he put me in PIP. I was on leave for 10 days & immediately on joining back i got to know i was put in PIP for performance issues. That too I was put in PIP on tue 31st Jan & told this only on friday which itself was a shock to me. And reason given was ofcourse performance. Later i was made to meet with the HR who was only clearly taking sides with the management & was not ready to listen to me at all. The management was only finding faults with me even after i pointed out my TL's misbehavior with me.

And throughout my PIP, i had to keep asking for feedback. And i got my 1st week feedback at the end of 2nd week that too after repeatedly asking the support person.Just before the closure of my PIP, i had noticed my manager & the sme or the support person i was given, having some clandestine meeting & my TL joining them. Then i also saw my TL taking that SME aside to come up with a negative feedback about me. This was very unusual of my TL who only knew how to throw his weight around. And just as I suspected, in the very next or the last meeting i had with HR these people had shown me in a very negative light before HR & no matter what genuine reasons I tried giving with proofs the HR did not care to listen to me & only humiliated me & told me as per policy i will have to resign the same day. So i asked for severance pay to which i was told i had resigned myself & i was not eligible for that. So i told her that it was a forced resignation as good as termination but she did not listen & told me severance pay is only for certain cases of termination & not for others. After working in this goddamn company for 19 years under a rotten management, is this all i get? The company suddenly realised Im not capable enough. Even when i had cleared every IJP,IPP & even their FLM tests with flying colors, this rotten management played dirty politics even then.

Sir, I was forced to put down my papers & was in no state of mind to ask for documentation & now it is very likely i would be refused that right as im already out of that organization. Ideally the HR should have provided me with the PIP documentation as i was not even aware that i had to ask since i had heard this word PIP the very 1st time. Can i still ask them? And what about the benefits? Was i entitled the severance pay which i have been denied? And im thinking of raising ombuds on them. Can i do that now or do i have to wait till my F&F? Please advice.

Thank you
