Non payment of dues Non payment of dues

I worked in an organisation and left within the probation period due to the toxic nature of my boss. I was told there is no notice period during probation. I handed over my laptop and other hardware with all the documents related to my work during the employment period. My dues have not been cleared till now. My boss emailed me that some of my work was incomplete (very insignificant) and in lieu of that she suggests to undertake extra work to get dues settled. I have offered to complete the incomplete work but she has been insisting me to do extra work in order to get my dues settled. what can I do?

If you have completed all the work assigned to you during your employment period and have returned all the company property, then as per laws you are entitled to receive your dues for the work done. Moreover, it also depends upon the employment contract or agreement that you entered. Hence, I will advise you to consult with a lawyer who specializes in employment law to understand your best available option.
