No refund after succesful return pickup,even after 8 months

I had purchased a pair of jeans from pepe India, and had returned the product on August 24,2022. I have the proof of return pick up successful.also I have called the customer care for nearly 6 times.every time they are telling sorry sir your refund will be given within 48 working hours but till now no refund is been given to me. I feel like exploited and cheated. It's been 8 months and till no reply. How can I file a case against them in consumer court . Can I claim compensation for this delay and negligence.
