Working for client company Working for client company

Hi All,

I was working for a KPO company where I signed an agreement, where I cant join or work for their client for 1 year after resigning. Due to some reasons, after resigning I had no option rather to join the client company. Now the thing is that my new company also have the same policy but after I talked with the Co-founder, he said its just a written clause and no one in the industry actually takes it seriously and I am free to join them.

Should I be worried that will my previous employer may take action against me?

It's difficult to predict whether a previous employer will take legal action for violating a non-compete agreement. Non-compete agreements are generally enforceable under the law, and violating one can have serious consequences. It's important to review the terms of the agreement and seek legal advice if needed. It's also helpful to discuss the matter with your current employer to understand their stance on the issue and whether they can provide any support or protection.
