BOI Home Loan - CIBIL Score Reg

Dear Sir / Maa'm, my home loan emi was increased recently and i did not get any information from the bank about the increase, on the designated day they debited for the regular emi and left a debit balance in the account - next day I funded and the account and the balance was debited as well.. no information from bank. checked the CIBIL Score.. for Rs. 3500 or so the score from 804 has come down to 768. there was no help from bank. 18 years of record spoilt for no mistake of mine. not acceptable .. how can anyone help.

A.Your bank loan might have been sanctioned with of floating rate of interest. once the ROI increased the amount of EMI increases accordingly that does not voluntary intimation from the Bank.
Your CIBIL score get affected by 36 points for default in crediting the EMI against loan account for one day and if you keep regularity in credit score without any default, CIBIL score may be changed accordingly in due course. So, be careful to keep your CIBIL score in right track.

You can file a suit for damages against CIBIL in the civil court as you had to suffer loss or reputation and also an injury to your prospects of obtaining further loan due to the incorrect report of CIBIL.
