Hello
We hired an interior decorator for our house but never received the legal contract promised and kept on trust as it was supposed to be a short contract. The person worked in bits and parts and took cash payments in advance. Only two small payments have been made online. Now it's been almost a year yet the work hasn't been delivered despite all the payments and just gets postponed on some excuse. Can we sue based on text/WhatsApp message records without having a legal contract?
Thanks
