Can a person contest in a Municipal Election while being a holder of more than one voter ID card? If elected what would be the procedure subsequent to the registration and election being concluded? (Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh)
Holder more than one ID is illegal and irregular. Not to disclose to your opposite parties. Your candidature may be cancelled. Before that you cancel one of the ID card and then contest.

If you are a registered voter in Delhi, you can contest an election to Lok Sabha from any constituency in the country except Assam, Lakshadweep and Sikkim, as per Section 4 (c), 4 (cc) and 4 (ccc) of the R. P. Act, 1951.
