Myself Shankarappa b akkaragalla aged 68 yrs , I had purchased gold diverge bond in 2017 and it has lock-in period of 5 yrs , which was in 2022 , I went to redeem and close gold bond after 5 visit he responded and told me to come in April to close and again I visited in April told to come in may and now he is telling to come in September, it’s harreasment for me he is not closing my gold bond account what I have to do kindly guide me

You may write to the Grievance Cell of concerned Bond Issueing Authority and BanBking Ombudsman, make a Complaint before the Consumer Court and being a Sr. Citizen you speak out or report the matter to Elder Help Line No.14567 launched by the Govt. exclusively for redressal of grievances of Sr. Citizens of any kind.

A.Dear Sir,
You may get issue a strong legal notice and if his attitude is not changed you can lodge complaint with Police and also go to Banking Ombudsman or Consumer Court.
