Company bond related issue
I have signed a 2 year bond with a company but now they are extending my training from 6 months to 10 months and mentally harrassing me by telling me that I'm not performing well and calling me early in the office and threatening me that if I resigned then they'll issue my cheques. How to get out of the company without paying them.
A.Dear client,
Your query needs more details to respond suitably. However, based on your halfhearted information it is to inform that in the given situation, you should go through the conditions of the appointment letter. In case there is a stipulation like an extension of the Bond period as per requirement watching your performance in your training period, the Company may extend the tenure of the bond on the ground of poor performance. But the Company cannot harass you or force you to submit a resignation to encash your Bond value. Such an action on the part of the Company is termed as victimization and unfair labour practice. To get rid of such a situation, you should first stop the payment of cheques issued against the Bond by informing the same to concerned Bank and on receipt of confirmation from the Bank, you should submit your application tendering resignation mentioning therein the cause behind your resignation i.e, for victimization and harassment, in compliance of notice period in terms of the offer letter and simultaneously make a complaint against the Company to the concerned Labour Commissioner for victimization and unfair labour practice. For any kind of assistance you need for the drafting of a complaint or application before the authority, you may contact our legal team for the purpose along with your all relevant papers.
